Accessibility Statement
At Sketching for Science, we truly believe science shouldn't just be taught; it should be experienced, by everyone!
While our program, "Sketching for Science," often highlights the power of visualizing phenomena through drawing, the truth is, we embrace the principle that all our senses can supercharge learning!
Deep learning happens when we engage multiple senses and pathways in our brains. From the powerful connection between your hands and brain that manual activities like drawing and writing activate, to how emotional connections cement memories, we're all about tapping into every way your brain prefers to absorb and retain information.
We strive to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, which is the standard recommended under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). That means we’re working to make sure things like screen readers, keyboard navigation, text clarity, and color contrast all work smoothly here.
We know accessibility is a journey, not a one-time checklist. If you run into a barrier while using our site, whether it’s a tricky button, a missing description, or anything else, please let us know. Think of it like raising your hand in class; your feedback helps us improve so everyone can learn together.
